What to expect

Energizing dance cardio and strength training classes that are suitable for all ages and fitness goals. It’s about movement, awesome music and community! We recommend attending a minimum of 2-3 times a week to get full benefits and results.
First class is FREE!

Try a class on us! And no need to pre-register–just come about 10 minutes early.
We want you to experience the power of a great workout–moving with joy in a positive, supportive space.
What to bring

Shoes you can work out in, a towel and a water bottle. We can provide weights and mats, but you may want to bring your own. Most participants start with 5-8 weights and work up to 10-12 lbs.

Meet your instructors:
Kelly Petz
Kelly has been a dance fitness instructor since 2017 when she made the jump from class participant to instructor upon moving to Campbell River with her family. She is nationally certified as a Group Fitness Instructor through the National Personal Training Association of Canada. Kelly is also certified in Uplift Strength Training. Her favourite format is HIIT! On the weekends, you can find Kelly on the soccer pitch and basketball courts with her two boys.

Meet your instructors:
Erika Clark
Erika became a certified dance fitness instructor in 2025. She teaches SHiNE’s dance fitness program. She is also a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with CCHPBC, Certified Personal Training Specialist and Certified Children’s Fitness Coach through CanFitPro. Erika grew up in Campbell River and loves the outdoors, fitness, theatre, her family, and all that this beautiful city has to offer.
